April 26th, they've just come in and rendered the bedroom and portico and the plasterers are putting in the finishing touches - nice folks and doing a great job too.
Photo overload coming up ....
Here's the front, not yet painted or cleaned but looking pretty close to the end result
Some much better quality pics of the cabinets, laundry first (had to balance all the white tiles and washer etc :)
Now the bathroom..
Kitchen cupboards and island bench..still need the caesarstone tops to go on...
The ensuite....
Lounge looking into the theatre room with all those hobs and had to throw in the family/meals area in also :)
And finishing off with the tiger snake breeding grounds just one house around the corner from us :) - good for keeping the mice down :) :)

Locked and un-loaded
April 22nd, bricks pretty much all up and gyprock looks like it's completed.
Bad news is that it's all locked up now <sob>
Hopefully, the bricks will look a lot better when they're cleaned up and the render is applied on to the front of the house.
Kitchen laminate and cupboards all up - crappy pic thru the dirty window...
The ensuite, (lots of spare doors) slightly cleaner window to take the pic thru...

We got plastered!
April 16th, we've been plastered in a big way! Can't believe how fast these guys are. They only started a day ago and now look at it.
Although, the rumpus is still waiting on the sound insulation before plaster goes up in the next couple of days.
Sadly though, the smart wiring has not been installed before the walls have been installed and will have to be run thru the insulation in most of the areas, only the lounge wall has no insulation now - can't figure out why it would be done that way :\
Entry and family/meals area:
Newly bare rumpus/laundry wall awaiting new insulation - dude, where's my smart wiring :\
Finally, the bricks at the side and rear of the house - very quick...

Some more insulation!
April 15th, well it turns out that the sound insulation in the rumpus and lounge walls was installed in the wrong place (instead of the theatre walls) - I figured that was normal.
Luckily, when our site supervisor called and explained this we were then able to quickly get in the additional sound insulation for the rumpus walls at least - so washing machine noises will be reduced :) :)
Meanwhile, those walls will have gyprocking delayed slightly as they were about to do them today.
Lotsa thanks to Jarrod - very good guy and very easy to deal with.

Different insulation for heat and sound
First pic below is the external (heat) insulation on the lounge/garage wall
This next pic shows the rumpus/laundry wall on the left with the sound insulation and the wall on the right is the rumpus external wall

Bricks, gyprock and insulation!!
April 11th, wow, that was quick again!
Glad I at least cleaned up the frame and got the wood shavings and mud off and out of the enclosed spaces.
They delivered the bricks and gyprock today and put up a heap of insulation in most of the walls.
Although, I'm a little puzzled why the theatre walls have the regular insulation instead of the sound-proofing type like the rumpus and lounge walls.

Mounted, but not stuffed
April 9th, they've been busy.
The heating unit is in the ceiling space, the evaporative air conditioning unit is mounted on the roof alongside the solar panel for the hot water.
All the ducting has ben run for both the heating and cooling - only missing walls and a ceiling.
The SS has assured me that the minor items from the frame inspection will be corrected for the next inspection (pre-plaster) next week, so all flying along, even had some of the rubble cleaned up.
Better go and sweep the wood shavings and muddy bits off the frame before they get covered over by gyprock.

Wrapped!! and roofed
April 7th, what a headspin, roof tiles are up, frame is wrapped and the wiring for lights and power has been roughed in for the most part.
Bricks will probably be starting as I write this as the sand is sitting out the front.
Waiting on a response to the inspection items but this should be pretty straight-forward to correct and hopefully the plastering can commence on schedule in a few days.
The front door - funny, I though it was gonna be a different colour :) - oh yeah, maybe some paint to come yet!
A view from the kitchen into the family, meals and rumpus - very glad we put in the additional sliding doors, although the corner stacker door would have been nice but that's only an option on the 36.
A couple of views from the back
And finally, the roof tiles - Elebana style in Sambucca colour
