We got plastered!

April 16th, we've been plastered in a big way! Can't believe how fast these guys are. They only started a day ago and now look at it.

Although, the rumpus is still waiting on the sound insulation before plaster goes up in the next couple of days.

Sadly though, the smart wiring has not been installed before the walls have been installed and will have to be run thru the insulation in most of the areas, only the lounge wall has no insulation now - can't figure out why it would be done that way :\

Entry and family/meals area:

Newly bare rumpus/laundry wall awaiting new insulation - dude, where's my smart wiring :\
Finally, the bricks at the side and rear of the house - very quick...

  1. WOW - it's looking amazing! I definitely think you're beating us now.

I love your floorplan, like, almost as much as mine!

  2. Thanks Reinsey, ditto re the plans, it was a bit of a toss-up between the Monaco, Atlantique and the Montrose but the Montrose won for us on our little block :)

  3. I reckon the montrose is more useable than atlantique. It's family room is more like a passage way, whereas in montrose it's a feature room. 1 of many! If we'd seen the pt cook display I think we would have gone montrose too. Gaahhhh... I'm in that should we stage where it's sooo too late to change anything!!

  4. Yep, gotta agree - but the display we saw was William's Landing - just luck that took us there as the Montrose isn't in Point Cook.

Lookign at your build though, I'd say you have a great plan as well with the light and placement of living and BR1 areas - still envy the corner stacker ;)
